Dr. Paul Monga awarded the 2019 APS Gastrointestinal and Liver Section Distinguished Research Award

Dr. Paul Monga has been named as the recipient of the 2019 APS Gastrointestinal and Liver Section Distinguished Research Award from the American Physiological Society.
This award recognizes an outstanding investigator who is internationally recognized for his/her contribution to research focused on the gastrointestinal and liver systems and who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the field.
Dr. Monga is a long-standing ASIP member, current ASIP Secretary-Treasurer and member of the ASIP Council, and a past Chair of the ASIP Program Committee. Distinguished past recipients of this award can be found here.
Dr. Monga will deliver a research presentation and receive his award on Monday evening, April 8, 2019, during the APS Gastrointestinal and Liver Section Banquet at Experimental Biology 2019 in Orlando FL.
