PISA is Here!
The opening session will kick off at 12:30 PM EST with welcoming remarks from Dr. Rick Mitchell on behalf of the Organizing Committee. The opening session will lead directly into the scientific program at 1:00 PM EST. The first Plenary Session will feature “Revolutionary Thinkers,” and will be followed at 3:00 PM EST with concurrent Symposia on “Microglia: Dynamic and Complicated Players in Development and Disease” and “Novel Insights into Hepatobiliary Repair Via Reprogramming and Microbiome.” The concurrent symposia will include both invited speakers and abstract-driven short talks. It will be a fantastic scientific program to begin the meeting! Be sure to visit the ePosters whenever you have time or there is a break. The 80 ePosters are available for viewing 24 hours a day during the meeting and you can send a message to the presenter to ask questions. This evening at 6:00 PM EST, there will be a Virtual Trainee Hangout that will focus on the topic of “Getting the Most Out of a Virtual Meeting.” This is a must attend session for the trainees and will enhance their meeting experience.
Day 1 of PISA 2020 promises to deliver exciting and interesting science. We look forward to seeing you!
